My main motivation to enter the mental health field was realizing how many people in my community were impacted by mental health conditions, as well as by social disadvantages. Those situations inspired me to pursue a profession that could mitigate these impacts, and enhance their well-being and quality of life. It’s rewarding to see the positive impact my work can have on others. Being able to provide resources that can make another person’s life better is a gift.
