Our palliative medicine team will treat symptoms of chronic or life-threatening conditions that affect a patient's quality of life
Palliative medicine, also known as supportive medicine, is available to any patient dealing with a chronic or life-threatening condition that is affecting quality of life.
Our palliative care team works with patients and their family members to help reduce symptoms of a disease and treatment side effects as well as address the related psychological, social, and spiritual concerns that may arise. The team works closely with the other physicians on the team.
Englewood Health offers both inpatient palliative care and outpatient palliative care.
