Englewood Health Welcomes New Leaders to its Boards of Trustees

February 24, 2026 — Englewood Health has welcomed new leaders to its Boards of Trustees.

Steven E. Siesser

Steven E. Siesser has been appointed chairman of the Board of Trustees of Englewood Health and Englewood Hospital. A dedicated member of the board since 2010, Siesser has played an active role in supporting Englewood Health’s mission and strengthening its connection to the community it serves. Siesser is a partner at Lowenstein Sandler, where he serves as chair of the firm’s private equity practice and co-chair of its Transactions & Advisory Group. Based in New York and New Jersey, he advises private equity firms, institutional investors, and operating companies on complex transactions across a range of industries, including healthcare, technology, and services. Deeply committed to the community and to advancing high-quality, accessible care, Siesser looks forward to leading Englewood Health through its next chapter of growth and innovation.

Jonathan Abad

Jonathan Abad has been appointed vice chairman of the Englewood Health and Englewood Hospital Board. Abad has been a member of the board since 2012. He is co-owner of General Trading Co. and its related companies, a family-owned wholesale food distributor based in Carlstadt, New Jersey. The company supplies grocery, frozen, and refrigerated products to more than 2,000 supermarket customers across the New York metropolitan area and employs over 450 people. Abad has spent more than 30 years with the company and has principal responsibility for executive management, operations, and sales. He earned a BBA magna cum laude from the University of Hartford.

H. Gary Gabriel

H. Gary Gabriel has been appointed to the Englewood Health and Englewood Hospital Board. He serves as executive vice chairman of the Metropolitan Area Capital Markets Group at Cushman & Wakefield, based in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Since joining the firm in 1994, Gabriel has underwritten, marketed, and negotiated the sale of more than $50 billion in investment real estate throughout the Tri-State region. He also leads Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial Advisory Group in the Northeast.

Celinés Morales-Ribeiro, MD

Celinés Morales-Ribeiro, MD, has been appointed to the Englewood Health and Englewood Hospital Board. She is vice president of the medical staff at Englewood Hospital and a board-certified surgeon specializing in minimally invasive general and bariatric surgery. She also serves as director of obesity medicine and metabolic and bariatric surgery at Englewood Health. She earned her MD from SUNY Buffalo College of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship in bariatric surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Dr. Morales-Ribeiro is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Victor J. Paparazzo

Victor J. Paparazzo has been appointed to the Englewood Health Foundation Board. Paparazzo founded Toscana Cheese Co. in 1993 and grew the company into one of the largest private-label manufacturers of soft Italian cheeses in the United States, supplying major supermarket chains, national food distributors, and restaurant groups. In 2022, Toscana Cheese was acquired by Cheese Merchants of America, where Paparazzo continued to serve as CEO through 2024. He is a graduate of Saint Peter’s College and Saint Peter’s Prep and serves on the Board of Directors of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation New Jersey Chapter.

Zachary Sirota

Zachary Sirota has also been appointed to the Englewood Health Foundation Board. Sirota is a senior managing director and partner at IRON Financial, a multifamily office. He has been a partner at CAMPAIGN Capital, a capital markets advisory and consulting firm specializing in real estate and operating companies. He previously worked in investment banking at B. Riley Securities and began his career at SL Green Realty Corp. Sirota holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The George Washington University and is actively involved with several charitable and community organizations.
